Installation Process
 
 
Windows  Installed!
Typical window installation!
  • There will be a lead mechanic that will introduce himself and be there to answer all you questions through out the installation of your windows.
  • We will lay out drop cloths to protect your floors. Rubber mats will be used on hardwood floors
  •  Lead mechanic will walk the job and evaluate the circumstance
  • Windows will start being ripped out. (Standard installations- opening should be exposed for 1 hour.)
  • Capping installed around the exterior "Brick molding"  This will provide a maintaince free exterior
  • New windows will start being installed.
  • Insulation will be stuffed around each new window installed (Extra step we take to prevent drafts)
  • Windows will be caulked with a high quality sealant from the new window to the capping or window flashing
  • New interior wood stop moldings installed (usually primed white) around each new window
  • We will clean up & remove all debris associated with the installation
  • You the client will now check the windows, approve and accept that the windows are in working and satisfactory condition.
  • Lead mechanic will ask for the balance to be paid
